About
I am a work at home Dad, who specialises in graphic design and photography.
After qualifying as a teacher and teaching computer skills to the elderly I have had a dream, a passion and a goal to teach people, young, old, abled-bodied, disabled graphic design and digital photography and prove that ANYONE can do anything!
Hi, my name's Dave McHugh and I have been interested in art since I was a small boy. During my teens I was introduced to design and technology then as the years went by I started picking up other skills such as graphic design, web design and photography. Having been born with cerebral palsy affecting the right side of my body, I never would have dreamed of developing the skills I’ve picked up-but here I am.
Being left handed, I wondered how would I use a camera, but as I love challenges I worked it out. I even started writing. I have worked for charities, organisations and small businesses with my Graphic Design skills. Soon I started receiving compliments on my photos and my graphic design work and went so far as to entering my work in an exhibition in East London, Walthamstow.
I have a serious passion for anything geeky, I love the fantasy and creativity used in dreaming up characters and the skills which they possess. At every opportunity I try to include this in my work with my own take on things. Take a look at my work and let me know what you think. thanks for visiting.
